Challenge #8: Loads of Patterned Paper !

Ok, so this week we are concentrating on using more.
More patterned paper that is.
Sure it is easy to use a sheet of patterned paper, but 4 sheets...

Well, that's the challenge this week.
Use 4 or more patterned papers on your Layout, card or project.
Now, the catch is that you can only use things in your scrap pile...No cutting full 12x12 sheets, that would be cheating!
So let's use up those scraps we've been saving for lord knows what and get crackin'.

And don't forget to check out our Queen this week Karen's great LO, that girl can work that patterned paper!

Our Queen, Karen's:

These are scenic route scraps--did not cut anything except the flowers out of the paper.
The red cardstock even has two huge scalloped punches taken out of them!

Simone's:

I know this is small, but you can click to make it bigger.
I'm bringing 2 page LOs back!
That's right...
I'm bringing double pages back...yeah.
You ladies know that's where it's at...yeah.
Ok, that's enough nonsense.
All the patterned papers are Scenic Route and from my scraps, I have every little piece of SR.
And the chipboard, stickers and journaling spot is also Scenic Route.

Don't forget to check out Karen's bio as our reigning Queen and who knows....Maybe YOU will be next?

And remember to add the links to your great projects in the Comments section...We want to see what you're making.

Challenge #7: Flower Power

Got Prima? Got Heidi? yeah us too!!
Get them out of the cute tins and jars they come in and get to cutting them, folding them, what ever you can think of doing to them do it...and girls...tsk tsk...we not talking about 1 or 2 flowers..we want to see some flowers...
LOADS of FLOWERS!!

Bust out your loot and get floral all over the place.
Remember to post your links to your work in the comments sections so we can all be inspired to use up those blooms!

Greta's:

I was bound and determined to use up every large prima and HS flower i owned and with this layout I DID JUST THAT!!

Simone's:

I used to really stock up on Dollar store flowers and just pull them from their stems.
I still have a few bushels to use up, so I worked them here.
All stuck to the page with glue dots.
That is a band of ribbon with the title written on it with White Sharpie Extra Fine Paint marker, it is currently my favorite of all my white writing utensils.

Also Simone:

Once I got started using up my flowers, I just couldn't stop.
These were once my coveted, only to be looked at supply.
I only own 2 little milk bottles, but they are the same 2 bottles I bought 3 years ago!
Not anymore, I am using up those babies in a big way.
That vase...well, that's a piece of clear packaging with blue vellum for the water.
The vase was hand drawn (badly) with a Slick Writer.

Challenge #6: Unloved Stamps

Stamps are the one thing I buy with the best intentions and then only use a select few.
And it seems that there are many other people who do the same thing because when I suggested this challenge to Greta, her response was...
"I have so many to choose from, which ones should I use?"

So, this week...Pull out those stamps you've never or barely ever used.
You know, the ones you may have never even mounted.
Or that are still in the packaging.
Or you think you used once on that one card a year ago and never touched again....
Those are the stamps we are looking for.
Show us your Unloved Stamps, they wanna have fun too!!

And remember...If you've joined us in this challenge, we'd love to see those cards, pages or projects, so be sure to add a link in the comments section.
